What is cellulite?
It is an accumulation of fat cells in an irregular format between skin layers. When fat cell layers become thicker as more fat cells accumulate, the cell walls are pushed and pulled inside the skin layers and become out-of-shape as a result. This changes the appearance of the skin and causes the so-called “orange skin effect” or cellulite. Cellulite slows down blood circulation and functions of the lymph system, promotes the accumulation of toxic waste deposits within the body, and reduces the supply of essential vitamins and minerals in the bloodstream from reaching the affected areas. All these contribute to make skin tissue lose its elasticity, so that the skin looks dull and unhealthy.
How to get rid of cellulite
1. Control your diet and avoid taking in carbohydrates, including sugar, soda and saturated fats, such as those found in deep-fried foods.
2. Exercise regularly
3. Avoid alcoholic beverages and smoking
